1. Service scope / 服务范围

ClearShip provides software tools to help merchants review product customs data, identify missing information, retrieve official tariff references, generate candidate HS/HTS/CN8 codes, organize review queues, and write confirmed fields back to Shopify.

ClearShip 提供的是商品合规资料审计、候选编码生成、证据链展示、人工确认和 Shopify 写回工具。

2. Not legal, tax, or customs advice / 非法律、税务或报关意见

ClearShip does not act as a customs broker, tax advisor, attorney, freight forwarder, or government authority. Candidate codes, duty references, legal notes, and ruling references are provided for review support only. You are responsible for verifying and confirming the final classification, origin, duty treatment, and compliance position before using them for customs, marketplace, logistics, or tax purposes.

ClearShip 不替代报关行、律师、税务顾问或政府机构。系统输出是候选建议和复核依据，最终使用前必须由商家或其专业顾问确认。

3. Merchant responsibilities / 商家责任

• Provide accurate product descriptions, material composition, intended use, country of origin, SKU, and variant details.
• Review candidate codes and evidence before confirmation or writeback.
• Maintain records required by customs, tax, logistics, marketplace, or regulatory authorities.
• Use ClearShip only in compliance with applicable laws, Shopify policies, and these terms.

4. Shopify writeback / Shopify 写回

ClearShip writes HS/HTS and origin information to Shopify only when you select the relevant workflow and the app has the required Shopify permissions. You should review the information before writing it back. Writeback status in ClearShip is an operational record, not a legal guarantee.

5. Subscriptions and billing / 订阅与计费

Paid plans are billed through Shopify Billing unless otherwise agreed in writing. Plan features, limits, and prices are shown inside the app before purchase. You can cancel Shopify-billed subscriptions through Shopify. Pro or custom services may require a separate agreement.

6. Acceptable use / 可接受使用

• Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with service security.
• Do not upload unlawful content or data you do not have the right to process.
• Do not present candidate recommendations as government-issued binding rulings.

7. Availability and changes / 可用性与变更

We aim to provide a reliable service, but the app may be unavailable during maintenance, provider outages, network interruptions, or Shopify platform changes. We may update features, plans, data sources, and these terms as the product evolves.

8. Limitation of liability / 责任限制

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClearShip is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for customs penalties, duty assessments, shipment delays, marketplace actions, or business losses arising from unverified use of candidate information.
